“FORTUNE does a fabulous job of bringing inspirational women from different industries and cultures together under one common roof to share stories, to talk about common issues (and) to promote collaboration. The Summit was a humbling, inspiring, engaging, thought-provoking event…very clever and extremely effective.” – Jyoti Deshpande, CEO, Eros International

The fourth Fortune Most Powerful Women International Summit was held 28 February 2017 in Hong Kong. Participation at the MPW International Summit, by invitation only, is a unique opportunity to spend an intimate day with your peers—the most powerful women leaders from Asia and beyond.

The Summit featured dynamic conversations focused on best practices for building great businesses, understanding technology trends, and creating value—via investment opportunities in China and across the Asia-Pacific region. The theme of the Summit is “Building a Better Future,” and the program included high-level conversations focused on what the future holds for many aspects of business, including talent, workplace culture, branding, and innovation. We also examined how geopolitical changes will impact investments in the region and how companies can best capitalize on Asia’s growing middle class. In addition, Arundhati Bhattacharya, the chairman of the State Bank of India and the first women to lead an India-based Fortune Global 500 company, joined to share her insights on the bright future she sees for her country on the global stage. We also heared about the personal and professional journey of Tan Le, a Vietnamese immigrant now heading up a leading bioinformatics company in the U.S. And at our dinner program, we were dazzleded by the creativity and fashion-forward thinking of Grace Chen, a sought-after designer and couturier for China’s most high-profile women.
