The 2019 FORTUNE Global Sustainability Forum editorial dinner in San Francisco will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019.
This dinner gathering will bring convening senior leaders in business, government, NGOs. The evening will include an interview with Levi Strauss & Co. President and CEO Chip Bergh, who aims to make the 166-year-old apparel company the world’s most sustainable. Chip will discuss his efforts to tackle climate change and Levi’s investment strategy in China, where it consistently ranks among the top companies for transparency and supply chain practices. The dinner will also include discussion with other prominent leaders who are interested in advancing progress on environmental issues and on energy innovation. We will discuss the key trends in environmental protection, energy innovation, and other subjects, with a special emphasis on China and its interactions with the rest of the world. Attendee input also helps us shape the program for this year’s Global Sustainability Forum agenda.
Cocktails will begin at 6:15 pm followed by dinner and an engaging discussion, adjourning by 9:00 pm. Dinner will be held at the St. Regis San Francisco, 125 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94103.
