We regret to say we are cancelling this year’s Fortune Brainstorm Finance conference in Montauk, which had been scheduled for June 17-18. This is a huge disappointment, especially given the top flight program we had put in place, and the growing importance of fintech in many aspects of our lives. We also very much looked forward to seeing you, and the rest of The Ledger community, over cocktails at the beach.

But safety and our duty to public health is our paramount concern. Given the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, we are comforted that we are doing the right thing. We are also looking forward to planning Brainstorm Finance 2021, and exploring how financial technology will help us navigate a very changed world. (Not to mention finally enjoying a glass of rosé and a lobster roll!)

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep up to date with us via The Ledger’s weekly newsletter and by subscribing to the rest of Fortune’s industry-leading business coverage. And, of course, you are always welcome to reach out with ideas about people and topics we should cover, or just to share your thoughts on finance, money, and more. Let’s keep up the conversation—remotely, for now.

On behalf of the three of us, and our hard-working events team, we thank you for your patience and support. Please stay healthy out there.

Sincerely,
